This FRITZ!Box rackmount kit was specially developed for installation in a 19 inch rack.
- All assembly and plug-in connections have been matched.
- After installation, the buttons on the FRITZ!Box can still be operated from the front.
- We use keystone inline couplers for our connectors.
- You can choose between a shielded and unshielded version.
- The FRITZ!Box is not in the scope of supply.
Strap-System
The devices are attached to the rackmount kit using Velcro straps. So no screws are needed and you don’t have to unscrew your device. The rackmount kit comes fully assembled and ready to use.
Air-System
All rackmount kits are designed to support good airflow. With our self-developed spacers in combination with the Velcro straps, the device is mounted in such a way that the existing ventilation openings are not impaired. This enables us to achieve a time-saving, device-friendly assembly solution.

Very good for a clean Install
After many years, we decided to “clean up” our “internet corner” which sits, unfortunately in the living room. In the process, I bought a new router, switches and a rack to tidy it all up. For the Fritz!Box I found the NM-AVM-007 rackmount kit which helped me mount the Fritz!Box tidily to the rack as well – and on the ground plate there’s enough space so I could fit our cable splitter / amplifier, too!
A few little caveats:
– For this mounting option, the Fritz!Box fits only one way, the buttons on the left corner and the LEDs on the right, which places them somewhere in the middle of the mount. I would have preferred the other way round, but that’s impossible due to the unwieldy base of the device which only sits flush if placed on the left side.
– Although the velcro strap indeed holds the device tight, due to the aformentioned base of the Fritz!Box, it’s top (now right in the center of the rack mount) stays suspended in the air – I would like to see some support bracket so the device is pysically supported on both sides, although there’s no forces (except for the velcro strap) asserted on the device so having it’s top hanging free is more of a nuisance to my inner monk than a real problem.
– The support at the back of the device is adjustable but it’s not easy to get it tight – maybe a small cushion could help here
– I ordered the Keystone modules (3x) for the telephone jacks with cables. There were 3 RJ11 RJ45 cables in the package – but the S0 connector is actually RJ45, too, not RJ11. Also just a small detail and nothing that one the patch cables I already had couldn’t solve.
All in all these are all very minor issues, in general I am very happy that my Fritz!Box now sits tidily in the rack, together with all the other components!

With this mount, I was able to move the unit to the back of my rack where it now sits perfectly mounted. The delivery was fast and the packaging was sturdy.
